To appreciate the incredible art of the Quilpie Shire all you need to do is take the Natural Sciences Loop and Warrego Way to Quilpie to start your Outback art tour. The Quilpie Shire Gallery at the Visitor Information Centre showcases local talent as well as artists from over the country. All exhibitions have an official opening and everybody is welcome to attend, drink and nibbles are provided. In the Courtyard of the VIC you will see more art in the form of corrugated cut-outs of a sheepdog and sheep. Once you arrive in Quilpie you will see along the median strip of Brolga Street life size sculptures of cattle and sheep, a drover on horseback and brolgas.
