Starting at Carrieton a scenic self-drive loop tour of 80 kms through the Oladdie Hills with many photo opportunities of gum creeks, slate outcrops, ruins and old buildings in the deserted towns of Johnburgh and Belton. Travel the local mail run through country with a variety of vegetation, pine tree stands. mallee scrub and bluebush. An A3 map and written social history tour guide on the back of the sheet is available at the Carrieton community store and Carrieton Caravan Park or the Tourist information centre at Orroroo Carrieton council office.
