About Glass Lightcatcher Workshop
Create your very own glass light catcher in this one day workshop in the Macedon Ranges. Using the technique of copper foiling, often known as Tiffany style, you will create your own light catcher from start to finish using one of the designs. You will learn about the different types of window glass; transparent, opaque, textured, clear, and not to mention the huge range of colours. You will learn to transfer your pattern onto your different pieces of glass, before cutting it out and refining the shapes using our glass tools including the grinder. Once you have laid out your design they will teach you to apply copper foil to each of your glass pieces before the real fun begins.
