Rated as the Number 1 nine hole golf course in Australia, the King Island Golf Course is the original links golf course developed on the island. Established in 1932 the course is a fantastic 9/18 Hole Links Golf Course overlooking Bass Strait. The golf course is a true links course and on a par with the Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes Courses. The first two holes – a downhill, dogleg-right par-4 opener and the sweeping, uphill, dogleg-left par-4 second – are worthy of placement on any golf course. Players then stroll to the tee of the downhill par-3 third and are met with an expanse of crystal-blue ocean, the rocky shoreline and the emerald strips of the course.
