About King Ash Bay Fishing Club Incorporated
King Ash Bay Fishing Club is situated on 500 acres of land (under lease from the NT Government) right on the banks of the McArthur River in the Gulf of Carpentaria, and on the doorstep to the Sir Edward Pellew Islands. The Club is in many respects a small self-sufficient township, generating its own power, supplying good quality water from a bore and providing many of the other services you would expect in a small community. Onsite there is powered and unpowered camping, a Club Bar & Bistro, a 9-hole golf course, and privately-owned accommodation options, service station and supermarket, houseboat hire and fishing charters.
