About Whales Beneath the Surface Exhibition
Whales Beneath the Surface gives visitors a chance to discover the giants of the ocean. The exhibition explores the types of whales that visit the Australian coastline, the relationship between the First Peoples of this area with whales, and the whaling industry through to the modern day love affair with these beautiful creatures they now aim to protect. The exhibit uses different forms of storytelling to provide an immersive experience for visitors. Storyboards, audio, lighting and projections convey the exhibition themes in a thought-provoking way.
