About Saltmarsh Trail - Eight Mile Creek and Murrippi

Mangrove forests at these locations line tidal creeks that flow into salty clay pans where vegetation is dominated by samphire shrublands and cyanobacterial mats. This is important part of Barngarla country and also a silent witness to the early European exploration.
