Western Australian artists unpick tradition in this biennial exhibition, showcasing an innovative range of current work that challenges the conventional concept of the quilt medium. Artists are encouraged to explore beyond the traditional quilt format, pushing the boundaries of the medium to make personal statements using unconventional materials, ideas and techniques. Exhibited pieces are selected through a jury process that evaluates work based on artistic merit, innovation and standard of design and execution.
