The accredited Visitor Information Centre staff are friendly and knowledgeable and can provide you with local information, maps, brochures and accommodation details. You can also pick up a Fossicking Licence here. The gift shop has a great selection of souvenirs, hot beverages, ice-creams and drinks. The museum takes you on a journey through the Cloncurry's history, with displays on Burke and Wills, Mary Kathleen Mine and town, and showcases the great mineral wealth of the district.
