Moored on the magnificent Renmark Riverfront, the fully restored Paddle Steamer Industry offers an opportunity to step back in time and be reminded of a bygone era with a scenic 60-minute cruise. Take in the majestic river gums, breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife whilst listening to the distinctive sounds of the paddle wheels as they hit the water and the hiss of steam as the whistle blows. Watch the wood fire boiler being stoked on this authentic and well-maintained vessel whilst being entertained by the Captain’s commentary as they share stories of her rich heritage. The PS Industry was built at Goolwa by the State Government and commissioned in 1911 as a work boat for the SA Engineering and Water Supply Department (now SA Water).
