Kids in the Kitchen - Sprouts Club
Join a collaborative session where they connect the garden to the kitchen in a fun, hands-on experience focused on nutrition. Your little ones will dive into the world of fresh, seasonal produce, learning how to prepare and cook delicious meals that are not only tasty but healthy.
They'll learn essential cooking techniques and kitchen safety in a fun environment.
Carers must stay with their children for the entire session to help foster a supportive cooking environment.
Spaces are limited for this exciting session. By registering, you're committing to a spot. If plans change and you can no longer attend, let them know as soon as possible, as they want to ensure every child has a chance to join in the fun.
Explore the garden at Sprouts Club, which is their after-school program covering an introduction to gardening, learning how to plant, grow, harvest and share the delicious fruit, vegetables and herbs the children and their carers grow. There's a different session each week plus special guests and seasonal features on a variety of topics. It combines art, science and exploration to spark a love for our beautiful planet.
These sessions are suitable for 6 to 12-year-olds and run weekly in line with the Wednesday garden market. You don't have to be garden members to come along to these sessions, they are open to all.
